2026 Calendar of Bird Photography coming soon … and an album update

Greetings. I should have my 2026 Calendar of Bird Photography available soon. This will feature 12 all-new birds in the highest quality I can conjure. Can you believe this is year No. 5 for my calendars? I wasn’t sure how much time I’d have to do one for this coming year, but I had some inquiries and a few days off, so I am going for it. My stock of photos and bird species is ever-growing and ever-improving, and I hope the results are satisfactory. Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Speaking up updates, I have recording dates in Chicago for the end of October 2025 to track songs for a new release. It was time to pony up and get real about this batch of songs I have been sitting on for quite some time. I believe in them, and now it’s time to do the work. At some point, a musician has to stop falling in love (or hate) with their demos and ideas and become a worker. Like any kind of writing, it takes real effort to revisit, edit, re-cast, repair and lift a body of work, and that doesn’t happen by itself. I hope to have a few special guests on these songs, as well, so I am excited for that.
