Passerine Dream vinyl LP

Passerine Dream’s self-titled debut album features nine original songs by Dave Tanner on 140g coloured vinyl. The first pressing was limited to 200 copies. Tanner recorded most of the guitars, bass, keys and vocals at home from summer 2020 through spring 2021. Remote contributions from friends on specific songs include drums, additional vocals, solos, and keys. More about the who-did-what can be found on the Passerine Dream artist page on Bandcamp.com. Raw tracks and a few last-minute overdubs were assembled, given proper pro treatment and mixed in spring 2021 by Paul Malinowski at Massive Sound Studios in Shawnee, Kansas. A master for vinyl was completed by Eureka Mastering in Portland Oregon at the end of April 2021. Vinyl was ordered via Atomic Disc and became available June 1, 2021. The vinyl package itself is minimal, with a nice colour sleeve but without shrinkwrap or physical liner notes. This was done not only to save cost, but to allow listeners and critics to focus on the music first and seek out information about the artist and contributors if they so choose.
